Walkers layup capped a 7-0 run during the quarter that gave Charlotte the lead for good at 20-15. It dipped briefly into single digits at the start of the second quarter, but the Hornets bench scored 16 points in the frame and Charlotte led 66-46 at halftime. The Sixers trailed by as many as 24 points in the third quarter but JaKarr Sampson led a 10-0 run at the end of the quarter to get them within 13.
